Charles Paxton is a published photo-journalist with over twenty years experience of free-lance photography. Charles's photographs have appeared in books, newspapers and magazines in Japan and in-flight magazines. His work has featured periodically in The Juice and has been syndicated to The Herald's music page, 'The Beat'. As a freelance writer and photographer, Charles currently contributes feature articles to Epistola magazine, a WHO supported medical magazine for health workers in Africa.

Charles's talent has been recognized both internationally and locally. In 1994 Charles represented Great Britain at the Beijing international photographic exhibition co-hosted by The Chinese Professional Photographers' Association and The Lucky Film Corporation. He has since won first prize for Wildlife Photography at Crosby Show with his portrait of a Namibian leopard.
